Close All Items in MS Outlook

Microsoft Outlook software defaults to opening messages, replies, calendar items, and other information in new windows. Sometimes after a busy morning, you may find that you have many, many Outlook messages open. You don’t have to close each message individually to shut down Outlook or to get a fresh start. Go to the View tab and in the Window group click “Close All Items”. All the Outlook items will close. This is also a great way to discover that you have a message you failed to send or an event you failed to finalize because before it closes you will be prompted to “send or save to draft”.

This button is worthy of space on the Quick Access toolbar. To add it simply right-click on it and choose “Add to Quick Access Toolbar”. Then you will be able to find it when you need it!
